A template gives a video a reusable structure and style. A brand kit supplies reusable brand material. Both have access settings as well as agent permissions.

Find the right resource

The gallery distinguishes your resources, workspace resources and items shared with you. Check the selected workspace if an expected item is missing. A similarly named resource in another organization is a separate item. Templates belong to a compatible editing engine. A Remotion template does not become an editable Mira template merely because it is shared into a workspace. Converting it requires a separate recreation or conversion. A video used as a reference is also different from a native editable template. Existing accounts and projects may use a different engine from new projects. Use the template’s compatible workflow rather than changing account or engine just to find it.

Share for use or editing

Open the resource’s sharing controls and choose the recipients or workspace, then select the access they need:
  • Use allows someone to use the template or brand kit in their work.
  • Edit also allows them to change the shared resource.
Workspace Members can share resources they own. Sharing something for use does not give the recipient permission to edit the original. A recipient also needs access to the relevant workspace. Before making an item workspace-wide, check that its images, fonts and other media may be used by that audience. Sharing does not transfer an external provider license or your personal connection.

Resource permissions

A template or brand kit can restrict the agent’s tools, generation models or asset sources for work using it. These restrictions can be stricter than the workspace’s settings, never weaker. If both a template and brand kit are selected, both apply. For example, an editorial template can forbid generated images while the workspace allows them for other videos. See Agent permissions.
