The app uses the word Delete because the organization or workspace becomes unavailable. The action marks it deleted internally rather than immediately removing all its underlying data records.

Delete an organization

Only an organization Owner can delete the organization. An Admin cannot do it. Open the organization’s settings, choose Delete organization, and type the organization’s name in the confirmation dialog. After deletion, the organization’s normal access is closed for everyone, including its Owner. Its chats and work are not accessible through old links or another member’s account. Deletion is not a private archive that the Owner can continue browsing.

Delete a workspace

Owners and Admins can delete a workspace through workspace settings. Choose Delete workspace, type its name and confirm. Other workspaces remain separate; deleting one is not the same as deleting the organization. The deleted workspace’s retained records are not an accessible backup workspace. If you need a copy or a planned move, arrange that before deleting it.

Before confirming

Review active work, automations, shared resources and connected accounts. Deleting access does not reverse an action already completed at an external provider, such as a published social post. Contact support if you need help recovering from an accidental deletion; do not assume a self-service restore or indefinite retention is available.
