An organization brings a team’s people, workspaces and billing together. A workspace is where that team makes and shares work: chats, templates, brand kits, connections and automations. Organization features appear only on accounts with organization access. If you use a personal account, you can keep creating videos and connecting the API without joining a company organization.

Choose where you work

Use the organization and workspace menu to choose your workspace before starting a new chat. The selection applies to that browser tab. A chat keeps the organization and workspace where it was created; switching the menu does not move the chat or change the payer for an existing run. Opening a shared chat switches to its workspace when you have access. If you cannot enter that workspace, ask an organization Owner or Admin to assign you access. Your personal organization, when available, is separate from a company organization. Files and chats do not move between them just because you join a team. Some company accounts are restricted to their company organization. Ask your administrator about moving existing work before changing accounts.

Find your team

Open Settings → Organization → Workspaces. Select a workspace to see its people, open workspace settings or add someone. Owners and Admins can create workspaces. Workspace Managers manage the workspaces assigned to them. People is the organization-wide directory for Owners and Admins. It is where they manage organization membership and each person’s workspace assignments. Workspace Members and Managers use their workspace’s people list instead. Joining an organization does not necessarily give you a workspace. An administrator can deliberately leave a person unassigned. That person sees a message to contact their administrator rather than an empty workspace they cannot use.

What is shared

Workspace membership does not make every upload or every personal connection public. Read Sharing chats, Templates and brand kits, and Connections before sharing sensitive material.

Remove a workspace or organization

Deleting removes access; it is not a way to move work. The app asks you to type the name before confirming deletion. See Deletion and access for who can delete and what happens to existing work.
