# Social posting

Social accounts can be personal or connected to a workspace. A workspace account is a shared publishing destination, with stricter controls than a general source connection.

| Workspace role | Social workflow |
| - | - |
| Member | Prepare drafts for review |
| Manager | Review, approve and publish; manage workspace accounts |
| Organization Owner or Admin | Workspace Manager authority across the organization |

Connecting an account does not authorize every member to publish. Agent permission to use social posting also does not replace the publishing role check.

## Prepare and publish

Choose the destination account, prepare the post and its media, and submit it for review. A Manager checks the content and destination before approving or publishing it. Confirm the platform, account and timing before the final action.

Social posting and its preferences are part of **Agent permissions** for organization work. Organization and workspace restrictions still apply, including restrictions on tools used to prepare the media.

## Provider failures

A published status should mean the provider accepted the publication. A draft, submitted approval or pending job is not the same as a live post. If a provider times out, inspect the post's status and the destination before retrying so you do not publish twice.

Removing someone's workspace access also removes the publishing authority that membership provided. Provider credentials remain managed through the connection; never share account passwords in a chat.
