# Your Library

The Library contains uploaded assets and folders for the current context. In an organization, the Library remains specific to the person who uploaded the assets within that workspace. Joining a workspace does not expose every member's entire Library.

Check both your account and selected workspace when looking for a file. Files inside folders are not counted as root-level files, so the top-level view may show fewer items than the full Library contains.

## Use assets in shared work

Attach the files you need to a chat or use them in a shared template or brand kit. People who can access that work may see the material included in it. Keep private source files out of shared work if the other participants should not see them.

Switching workspaces does not move uploads. A company migration is a separate operation; joining an organization alone is not a transfer of your existing personal files.

## Connections and uploads

A storage connection and a Library upload are different. The connection authorizes access to the provider. A file already imported or attached is part of the work that uses it. Disconnecting the provider does not erase existing material from every video or conversation.
